Bountiful — abundance flows where joy is allowed to lead.
This painting began with the intention to paint two vases filled with flowers, but somewhere in the process, play took over. The flowers dissolved into flowing honey, and I simply followed where the painting wanted to go.
Some of life's sweetest moments aren't planned—they're discovered when we loosen our grip, trust our curiosity, and allow creativity to surprise us.
I love the dance between realism and abstraction in this piece, the swans resting quietly in the background, the rich flowing honey, and the warmth of the colours. Together they create a feeling of generosity, beauty, and rich abundance.
